Thank you for your interest in the Charlotte-Genesee Lighthouse.  The Lighthouse is located in the former Village of Charlotte (at the Port of Rochester, NY).  Our dates and times of operations are listed below.  There are new displays both inside and outside the museum.  If you are in the area and unable to make the normal operating hours and would like a special tour, please call us at least two weeks in advance at 585-621-6179.

In-Season Hours of Operation:
Friday, Saturday & Sunday

from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

(The last tour of the Tower is at 4:15 p.m.)

Groups larger than 5 people should call us at 585.621.6179 before coming.

This ensures we have enough volunteers to give a meaningful tour.

ADMISSIONS

Adults 18 years and older $5.00

Children/Youth ages 5 to 17 years old $2.00

Children age 4 or younger FREE

Special Tours by request only.

We offer year-round Special Tours when Volunteers are Available & Weather Permitting
